Traditional synthetic floors (such as epoxy and polyurethane) soften at temperatures above 60 ° C and are therefore limited to this temperature. Anything above this temperature and flooring will loosen, flake or break off. This is what happens when the wrong choices are made during preparatory stages, but can also be the cause of flooring cowboys and undertrained ‘professionals’.

A polyurethane cement floor is, as the name implies, a floor consisting of a mix of polyurethane and cement. PU-cement floors are, thanks to the hybrid mineral content, resistant to temperatures between -40 ° C and 120 ° C. These floors are excellent for use in spaces where high mechanical, thermal or chemical loads (or combinations thereof) play a role.
